Jane Pauley is an American TV journalist and author and has been in the industry for long. Jane currently works as an anchor for the CBS Sunday Morning Show. She hosted NBS’s Today Show and Nightly News for 13 years with Tom Brokaw and then Bryant Gumber. This was after replacing Barbara Walters the first female anchor running the program. Pauley made her first appearance on TV news at the age of 24 in 1974. She auditioned for Chicago’s NBC affiliate, got the job, and became the first woman in Chicago to co-anchor the evening newscast. She replaced Barbara Walters as a co-anchor on Today from 1976 to 1989.

NBC launched Dateline in 1992 and she landed a job as a co-host with Stone Philips from 1992 to 2003 and failed to renew her contract and instead found another job as a daytime talk show host. In 2004, she started hosting The Jane Pauley Show aired by NBC Universal. Pauley, after 13 years announced leaving Today’s show due to her twin’s delivery and received so much support and love from followers. She was named heroine of my generation for being a working mom. She’s been a guest host for CBS This Morning and CBS Evening News in place of Scott Pelley. In 2016, she took over as the host of CBS Sunday Morning.

Pauley earns an annual salary of $1.2 million and has been ranked as one of the highest-paid newscasters on television. She has accumulated an estimated net worth of $40 million throughout her journalism career for nearly four decades. Pauley is a wife, mother of three, and grandparent of two. She met her husband Garry Trudeau in 1975, dated for five years, and tied the knot in 1980, they have been married for 44 years.

Ross’s parents Pauley a TV anchor and Garry Trudeau a cartoonist got married in June 1980 and have three children Ross, Thomas, and Racheal Trudeau. Ross and Rachael are twins. Ross enjoys reading, playing soccer, bouldering, and writing articles and essays. He lives with his family in Syracuse, New York.

His father Garry Trudeau created the Pulitzer Prize-winning comic strip Doonesbury, in 1968, which he started while still a junior at Yale University and gained popularity over the years talking about social and political issues. Doonesbury was printed in over 2,000 newspapers as it continued to gain popularity. He was the first strip host to have a gay character, talked about drugs and sex, and always received mixed reactions. He celebrated Doonesbury’s 50 years in 2020 still running. He won the Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Cartooning. Currently, Trudeau is an author for the Sunday edition.
