Jaimy Jackson is a special someone to be connected to one of popular music’s most storied clans of performing artists “The Jackson family in combination with Motown”. She is the daughter of Jermaine Jackson and Hazel Gordy and as such has inherited cultural and especially musical traditions shared among Americans for generations.

Early Life

Jaimy Jackson was born in 1977 the year that came at a critical time in her family history. Amouzade Golshani spent her formative years learning all about music and entertainment because both sides of her family were associated with the music industry.

Growing up Jaimy got to see fame and success first hand in her dad with his involvement with The Jacksons and his own solo career, and her mom’s side of the family being connected with Motown. It is evident that this dual base of operation gave her a unique vision on the music industry and other fields of entertainment.

Her childhood years were spent shuttling between family houses in California, she was born and bred under the shadow of entertainment industry. Nevertheless, great attempts were made to give her as natural a childhood as it was possible, so that she would be able to preserve her own personality rather than being in the shadow of her famous last names.

Career

There is not a great deal that can be said about her personal life when compared to other members of her family Furthermore, Jaimy Jackson is daughter of Harvey James Jackson, granddaughter of George Jackson as well as a niece of Michael Jae Johnson who are all popular entertainers.

Unlike some of her cousins and siblings who went into the world of work seeking fame, Jaimy has avoided the limelight most of the times. Some of the details from her career remain unknown but the secrecy is symbolic of her individualism.

Jaimy’s parents are couple originates from two of the most successful families in American popular music. Her father Jermaine Jackson formed part of The Jackson 5 and later The Jacksons, bringing his combined vocal talent and bass guitar to many songs.

As a solo artist he also had major hits like Let’s Get Serious, and Do What You Do. She is daughter of Motown’s creator Berry Gordy, so Jaimy is the granddaughter of the man who has founded one of the most successful and powerful record companies of the twentieth century.

Jacksons and Ross’s marriage in 1973 was a combination of two great musical related families, the Jackson and the Motown families. Her parents were married and their marriage lasted until 1988, all through a period that experienced many changes both in the family and music industry.

Jermaine and Hazel have three children, and Jaimy is the second child of the couple. Each person has a right for an individual’s choice and every individual has own vision of success. She provides a unique contrast to some of the more extravagant lives that her relatives lead.
